ShiDu, meaning ten ferries in Chinese, is a prominent place for sightseeing in southwest suburb of Beijing City. She incorporates

the strong points of bold landscape in North China and gentle one in South China, just as beautiful as a technique of Chinese ink painting. When you linger on ShiDu, you will find yourselves in a very spacious and secluded natural garden, just like a "One-hundred-li Gallery".

ShiDu has distinctive features of impregnable mountains, precipitous peaks, peculiar forest and elegant water. Every time visitors come here, they will enjoy themselves so much as to forget to return. If you come here, you will fully enjoy sea-like flowers in spring, beautiful lotus and cool wind in summer, red leaves all over the mountain in autumn and crystal snowy scenery in winter, as well as have completely new thoughts and feelings.
ShiDu was once awarded one of the "Sixteen New Landscapes in Beijing" and one of the "Ten Fine Landscapes of Tourism." It is a truly good resort with beautiful scenery. At present, more than 20 scenic spots open to visitors in ShiDu, including natural landscapes and humane landscape, such as the Dragon Mountain, the Tiger Mountain, the Bat mountain, the Penholder Peak, the "Celestial Dragon Island", the Solitary-mountain Stockade, etc. We will introduce the main scenic spots one by one in the following paragraghys.
